Home is… many places
Born down South. Grown up North. Molded in the Mid-Atlantic. Rewritten out West, and I’m just getting started.
I’ve lived many places because at an early age my mother demonstrated the power of pursuing dreams. She migrated North as a young woman with nothing, other than her dreams, to secure a better life for us. That tenacity is why I pursue storytelling more than a single place. More than the city I fell in love with. More than a cute house and lovely garden. More than the memorable nights with forever friends. For me, the connection and joy found in telling stories is central to who I am and, not surprisingly, my forever home.
